Delete your Ostro account
You only have a Ostro account if you signed in to publish results for a club. Timing and scoring races on your device needs no account, and that data is removed by deleting the app.
In the app
Open your account settings in the Ostro app and choose Delete account, then confirm.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Ostro account deletion”. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email address, tell us the club you belong to so we can find your account. We will confirm once it is done.
What is deleted
Your account details (your sign-in identifier, name and email address) and your roles in any clubs. We delete them within 30 days of your request, and they are cleared from our backups within a further 90 days.
What is kept
Results you published for a club are part of that club’s record, so they stay published under the club, with no link to your account, until the club removes them. If you own a club, pass ownership to another member first, or ask us to remove the club and its results as well.
